I am so sorry to hear your sad news today. Joan had so many friends in the textile world and when her eyes let her she made some exquisite work. After she moved to the Sutton Road I used to take her to our STACS meetings and we had lots of lovely chats on the journey about the family and her earlier life in South Africa. Unfortunately I never managed to meet your father but did see some of his work in the house. Your Christmas letter was such an interesting read. The family must be so proud of such talented parents.
