So very sorry to learn that your mother has sadly passed away.. She was such a talented lovely lady, always with a beautiful cheerful smile. It was through Shropshire Art Society that I met Joan when she accompanied her husband to the Society's exhibitions and events. When Joan came to live on Sutton Road she very generously invited my late wife and myself around for tea. We had quite a chat about art and the local art scene. I felt very privileged to listen to her explaining some of the techniques of her wonderful work and explaining how she was coping with her diminishing eyesight.
